Cengage Publishing – First and Second edition Milady Standard Esthetics Advanced, Tips and Tricks for Permanent Makeup, Esthetician’s Guide to Safety and Wellness.

For the Advanced book, I generated a chapter list and recruited a team of 18 industry experts. I researched and wrote chapters, kept the team on target, and edited it all for accuracy and to conform to a consistent voice.

NCEA National Coalition of Estheticians Association – webinars, written materials, lectures to help instructors teach complex topics including chemistry. The most challenging was a presentation to educate professional estheticians and instructors on the molecular structure of specific acids. Most have no advanced chemistry or college work. The goal was to understand the comparative size of commonly used acids and how their structure impacted penetration of the epidermis. This knowledge provided them with a tool they could use to select the most effective therapy for their clients.
